This Tavern came as a well needed refresher from the scorching heat, walking around New York in mid summer. You will find it on Broadway just before East 21st Street. The manager here was Irish, great guy, got chatting to him and our waitress who was also Irish.
Blue-Moon beer reminded me of the Hoegaarden gold, so refreshing.
My partner had the Quesadilla and I had the Korean chicken wings with a dollop of pickled cabbage on the side, very nice - crunchy and tangy everything mingled well together. Then I got greedy and ordered fries too, it was waaaaaaaaaaay too much but we ate most of it.
Plenty of beer on tap, which kept my drinking partner well hydrated and in good spirits!!
Great atmosphere and the prices were pretty reasonable, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
Have you been to the Punch Tavern? what did you think of it?
